"Sorry, Dad! It is back to school you go."

My summer break is coming to a close quickly. We had one last weekend together as a family at the Ottertail Lake cabin. Ann and the kids will go one more weekend but I am back to school. A little shot of the girl as she gets bigger and bigger.

Baby, puppy. Her true loves.

Lake side family photo. It only took seven shots to get us all to look. Thanks, Rachel!

Three's company, very good company.

Bryn has finally decided to wear shoes this summer. She started at the babysitter who said she has to wear them outside. So, she wears them even with her pjs.

Nice comb over baby.

Time for another dip.

Grandma and Grandpa Vosberg have been so generous this summer to let us relax at the "small cabin". Thanks!!

It only took her once to become a jet ski addict.

Otter Days! A picture on the giant Otter.

Cute.

Jack quickly learned how to crank up the jet ski. He is a pro.

More to come!

Where have you been?

Well, it's summer! We have been enjoying a lot of time at Ottertail Lake, hanging out with cousins, enjoying the sun, doing a little work here and there. Here are some more pictures to prove it (in a very random order)! Kristin and my mom came down this past weekend. We braved Valleyfair with five children. They were great and had a great time.

Bryn said, "Bring on the snacks in my shaded stroller and I will love life." Notice she still has her blanket next to her on a 90 degree day...

We are loving life at the lake. Sure one bedroom, generally 8 people and 2 dogs but this is the life. A little wind blown from her days adventures.

Hanging out with cousin Julia. They are the same age and have a great time swimming together.

Hanging out with cousin Jared. Also, love to play together.

I go out of town for a week and this is what happens to my baby... she has recovered beautifully but was looking rough for a few days. She met the garage floor.

When we were finally at home for a few hours, Jack was an excellent helper.

This picture makes me think she is not really a baby anymore...Toddler land we have arrived. She is 19 months old, but it is hard to admit.

Hah! We also enjoyed the Children's Museum for Father's Day. You know you had a great time when all three are crashed.

My silly kids.

Building...His first love.

It was like the place was built just for her. Bryn loved the museum, just the right size.

You could even do your own face painting. Kate thought that was very cool.

We also enjoyed some time in the sprinklers. It has been hot!

Great smile.

Did I mention, Kate is a great big sister? So helpful and loves her little sister. Hope you are enjoying your summer as much as we are.

Preschool Graduation

Jack is officially ready for Kindergarten. He made it through his last year of preschool with flying colors. He has really grown up over the last year, and he is so excited to start Kindergarten next year (and ride the big bus with Kate). Jack with his preschool teachers Mrs. Clem and Mrs. Rosenberg.
During the ceremony Jack said his favorite part of preschool was going outside to play tag and playing with the little legos.
High five during the grand march! He is so proud!

And a little shot of the smiley little sister:)

More Birthday Fun!

One more birthday celebration at the Moch house. Mike had a meeting the night of Jack's birthday so he played a little hooky over the lunch hour and we celebrated over lunch...even Kate got out of school over her lunch period. No birthday is complete without ice cream! We had to make a 2nd stop just to get ice cream after we found out the first stop had a broken ice cream machine!
We had lunch at the Drive-In per Jack's request. It was a chilly day so we had a picnic in the back of the Trailblazer. Jack opened his presents while we waited for our food.

His favorite...I spy computer games from Grandma. He was so excited!
Birthday kisses before Mike went back to work.

Big Birthday Bash!

Kate and Jack had their birthday party this weekend at the North Shore Gym. They each invited friends from school and fun was had by all...This is the whole crew sitting on one of the inflatables as it was filling. You can see Jack airborne way in the back:) Bryn loved the gym...she may be a future gymnast. She was all smiles the whole afternoon.

Like I said...fun was had by all. Mike liked the rope swing the best:)

Kate on the trampoline.

And the beam...

Jack spent a lot of time in the foam pit. He was trying to get to the bottom to find treasure. I don't think he ever made it, though.

Bryn, after a ride down the giant, inflatable slide with Dad.

After playing hard, everyone had cake. Kate picked out a flower this year, she even helped decorate it.

Jack picked out a checker board. It took a couple tries to get 5 candles blown out!

Of course, we ended with presents. Jack's look is priceless, as he opened up a skateboard from one of his friends. He has been trying it out in the house all weekend, waiting for the rain to stop.
