Bryn and her sweet smiles

Just an ordinary day

Jack got finger paints for Christmas-- who gave him those by the way? Our house has become a little colorful and his clothes, too. We now strip down to the undies and let him loose.
If anyone has been to our house, you know our bedroom serves as the living room the majority of the time. I laugh every time I put up a picture with our messy bed and pink flower pillow cases.

Bryn's big night out. We went to PF Chang with the work gang for a Christmas party and Bryn was our guest (not quite ready to let her spend the evening with a sitter). No problem, though. Everyone did a great job of snuggling the little girl and she was a trooper the whole night.

The Smiles Begin

Bryn is really starting to take notice of those around her. Well, how could you not. It is like a rumbling herd going through the house most days. Her smiles are beginning to come out. I can see the bond growing with mom (she gets the most smiles). Jack went with Kate, Bryn and Ann to Pastries with Parents (at Kate's school). I was quite amazed that Ann was able to get herself and three kids ready to go and arrived by 8 am. Super woman-- I tell ya!

Smiles from Bryn.

We seem to think taking aerial views of the family is funny. Sorry you have to keep seeing them. Kate and Jack have been more willing to take photos since Bryn has come along.

These are smiles for dad. I caught her smiling at me, so I had to snap a few shots.

Jack has decided camera work is in his future. I thought it was a half way decent shot.

I love Sunday!

Sunday's are great! Everybody is up on time, off to church and then just a full day of fun. It makes it a little tough for everyone to get back into the Monday routine. Proud Kate feeding Bryn one of her first bottles. Kate did an amazing job.
Kate went to a friend's house, Bryn and Ann were eating lunch... so just the boys tackled the snow luge in the backyard. Our neighbors built the luge while we were in North Dakota. It is now icy and fast. Jack loved it.

The top of the hill going down to the back yard. Jack thought it was pretty funny that I tipped the sled so high he couldn't get on.

Jack thought I needed to go down the hill by myself. Nice pushing.

All set to go tackle the great outdoors.

Of course, none of the outside fun could happen until Jack made some cookies. Our neighbor Deb is on vacation for the week, so I had to fill in as cookie maker with him.

X3 is good for me

Life with three has been quite busy. You kind of forget all of the schedules and meeting and things you have to do are still there, even though there is a new baby. And then all of a sudden you see a picture of a snoozing little one and the schedules don't seem so crazy.

Photo shoot gone wild:)

Cracking up at this picture. I am not sure if Bryn is loving the family photo.

Kate and Jack got new robes for Christmas. Here is the comfy night running around the house. To capture a smile from Jack (and holding still) can be a rare occasion.
