Random Fun in the Sun...

Yikes. It has been a while since the last post. The kids are getting big. The nice weather has gotten us outside more often. Lots of fun to be had around here. Of course the longer hours of daylight make bed time seem like it shouldn't come so fast.

Jack in his shades loving it outside. Just today he turned to me and said, "Dad can mommy take me outside?" This of course is while Ann is standing right next to me. I like that he asks me for permission for everything.

Bryn on one of her first stroller rides. The sun and vitamin D are a new experience for her.

Sweet smiles from a sweet baby.

Jack brought Pooh home from preschool this week. He had to take some photos with him throughout the week. Here he is getting ready for bed.

Can't have a Pooh shot without the big sister. Don't they look like they get along all the time...?

Loving those rolls.

Just relaxing in her swing.

Our only baby who has found the thumb and keeps on chomping.

Mindy, the neighbor dog, and Jack playing outside together.

Sadly, this is our idea of fishing around the Moch house. I promised Jack I would take him out by the real water very soon.

Weekend Fun with Grandma and Papa

My mom and dad came to visit this last weekend. They were nice enough to watch all three kids when we went out on Saturday night. They survived, but I think they were OK with jumping in the car for the quiet six hour drive to Bismarck. Here is Papa Bob loving the kids (and them loving him too!)
We each have the things we think have the best flavor. Kate-- it's her ring pop, Bryn-- she has now found her thumb and thinks it tastes great.

Jack and Kate out enjoying the great day on Sunday. Here they have their boots on, but by the time we went in it was t-shirts, rolled up pants, no socks and no shoes. Nothing like a spring day in Minnesota. If there was a pool anywhere near by, they would have jumped in.

Bryn and a little time just hanging out.

The weekend has come and gone. Ann went back to work on Thursday night, so it was back to the grind for all of us. Bryn did well. You can tell she misses her mom. Every time Ann comes home in the morning, Bryn smiles and smiles like she has missed her in the middle of the night. I miss her in the middle of the night, too!
Smiles from Bryn.

Last weekend we went ice skating and sledding. I am sure I have told you that I love my wife and her ideas. This one was to take everyone sledding and ice skating. We took shifts staying with Bryn in the car. Here she is ready to go venture the great outdoors.

Cheesy, I know. But we were laughing pretty hard because Bryn was waving at us.

Bryn sleeping in the car while everyone was ice skating and sledding.

Jack loving his little sister.

The measurements are in. Jack is still bigger. Actually, he is almost close to being bigger than his big sister, too!

The final weekend shot. Jack and I both got our haircut. Yes, I got my haircut at Kid Klipz!

Getting big... but still my baby!

Bryn has been growing like a weed. It was just last night when I was changing her diaper that I declared her a Moch baby. Her chub on her legs is now rolling to the point that I wonder if she will ever be able to stand on those things. A little time on the tummy. We are working on holding the head up tall instead of balancing it on her chest.
I am sorry, but it doesn't get any cuter than this. Don't you want to take her home?

A girl has to sleep. Bryn has been enjoying her swing and taking a few cat naps as the sun shines in from outside.

This one is for Tiffany. She made her cozy fleece inside her car seat. She is actually starting to fill out the hat.

Bryn trying to escape from Kate and Jack's grip.

Jack thought it would be good to keep Bryn safe. You will see below, and a little here, that he buried her in pillows.

Very cozy, but I had to remind Jack not to jump on the stack of pillows. Bry, the poor kid, will be our first to have something broken (well, probably more likely to be Jack).
