Father's Day Fun and more!

The kids have been having a great time these past couple of weeks. Here are some shots of the most recent happenings. It was beautiful the other day so Ann and the kids went to the beach. Bryn was a very good girl, even taking her nap in the stroller. Kate and Jack thought it was great because they stayed all day.
A turtle sand sculpture. Nice shades, Kate.

At Minnetonka Regional they have a great beach because of the big umbrellas. Bryn took in the day and loved it.

The story goes... "Mom said we couldn't have any ice cream when we were at the beach." Then I found this photo in the mix. "There were only two Sponge Bob ice cream treats left!" I am confused...

We started our Father's Day celebrations with a bon-fire in the back yard. Bryn even said she wanted to go.

Jack and dad roasting marshmallows. Unfortunately, the month of June has seen rain nearly every day. The wood was not cooperating so well.

The roasting still went well.

Jack did not go hungry and was stuck to the chair after this marshmallow.

Kate had her fair share, too!

We went out for brunch the next day after church. Jack really enjoyed his waffles!

Bryn has been testing out regular food (only vegetables). Ann is afraid if she feeds her fruit she will turn into Kate and Jack (let's say they don't really enjoy their vegis).

Bryn goes where we go. Ann was gardening the other day, so off to the front yard she goes.

She is a good player. Laughs and thinks chewing on anything (I mean anything) is great.

Some squash... but she always needs to find the camera.

Yum!

A sweet little good bye for now. Hopefully more to share next week.

Hooray for Tuesday...

It has now been over two weeks since you have had an update on the Moch family. Sorry about that. School came to a close, we had our annual golf outing for school yesterday and now it is off to a normal-- work really hard until June is over couple of weeks. Here is some new stuff to take a look at. Bryn is now sitting on her own. It took her awhile but she loves it. She now gets a little upset when we lay her down on the bed.

She is grabbing toys, eating just about anything that will go in her mouth and being entertained by Kate and Jack.

These are my favorite pictures of the week. Ann was playing piano for Bryn and Jack, when she looked over Jack was sleeping on the corner of the couch. Got to love the kid.

Here's Bryn enjoying the tunes, while her brother is snoozing...

Jack loves to be outside. He usually takes a bucket of toys with him and just takes in the sun. He has taken all of the rocks from the garden and lined them up on the steps.

Kate's last day of first grade. I was able to go help out for their "Fun Day". Granted I went to help out on the second to last day of school, too. Only to discover I was a day early.

Family photo... hey where's dad? Aren't they lucky they get to have so much fun while I'm at work:)

Bryn has taken up reading the newspaper. Well, eating it might be a better way to describe it.

Doing a little reading.

Ah, good! A toy she can actually chew on.

A snapshot with mom to say, "See you in hopefully less than two weeks."

Did somebody say June?

The last couple of weeks have really been a blur. Birthday parties, guests, Ann working, school, work and of course the beach. So let's start with last night and work our way back... Bryn decided she loves cereal now. This is only the second time she had it and Ann had to practically refill the bowl. Ah, the chunky girl lives on.
Earlier in the day we went to the beach. A perfect Memorial Day, not too hot, but just hot enough to keep the kids busy and enjoying their time. Here is Jack doing his Baywatch run.

This was our attempt at the beach the day before. Bryn is wearing a sweatshirt. Needless to say it was a little chilly, but not too chilly for the Moch kids.

Yep, it was raining. But Jack and Kate did not care. You will see below. After the drops-- they were in the water. Ann has trained them well. They are fish.

Playing in the sand.

Bryn has recently found her toes. Every time she hits the bed now, she has to grab them. We are proud.

Jack's birthday was May 24. We had his party the same weekend as Kate's. Ann's mom and dad and sister came down to join in the festivities and help out with the parties. Here's Jack with his newest treasure.

Bryn didn't even flinch all weekend. She was a great baby. Eating, sleeping, smiling. Maybe it is number 3 but she is a good baby.

Meanwhile, Jack graduated from preschool and went on his final field trip. He has a way with animals (or maybe Ann had to run to take this picture before he crossed his arm and frowned at her).

Jack's actual birthday. We celebrated with pizza, watermelon and a dippin' dots "cake".

Jack got a new water gun from Grandma Mikie and Papa Bob. Let's just say Kate and her little friend were in for a treat the rest of the afternoon.

Bryn in her summer gear. She seems like she may need a little hair to go with that dress.

Oh yes! Jack and Kate found out they are going to Disney World in October (as part of their birthday surprises). Here is Jack's reaction when he found out our neighbor is going with us, too!

It will be a whole family affair. They also found out my sister, her girls and my parent are coming to Disney as well. Call us crazy! But it will be fun.

Sun hats for the big trip.

Jack's party was at the "pink park". We had the neighbor children to his party. It was great fun running around the park.

Jack's pirate cake. Nice work, Ann!

Jack having a great time at his party!

Kate's party was supposed to be at the pink park as well. A down pouring of rain for the only two hours of the day (Kate's party time), moved us to plan B. We had 10 girls running through our house. (Note to self: plan B must involve indoor party facility).
Jack and Kate opened some presents from Grandma Maureen, Grandpa Myles and Krista early. They are quite spoiled, I tell ya!

And always, one last shot of the sweet baby. Here she is about to roll over. She is starting to master the art. Too bad we can no longer leave her on the bed and walk to the next room to get something!
