The Incredible, end of the summer, festival

You know summer is over when the Incredible Festival is in town. We usually hit the festival each year. This year was fun because Jack and Kate were able to go on many of the rides on their own. Family shot before leaving the festival.
Jack got off the Tilt a Whirl and said, "That was awesome!" We thought they were going to fly off.

A little cotton candy for the road.

Cruising on the motorcycles.

A Wicked Weekend

Ann's parents came down and we went to Wicked. It was a really good show. Here are some shots form the weekend. Grandpa and Bryn getting along famously.
Some giggles from the girl.

Downtown for an afternoon of fun.

Is that the skyline or a really big parking lot? We were impressed that we could get both in the shot.

Ann and her sisters taking a nice shot together.

Soccer in the Fall!

Kate and Jack both started soccer. Kate is in her second year. Jack is just beginning. It took a bit of convincing to get Jack going but now he is a pro. Kate has been working hard on her kicks. She is a very kind soccer player and want to make sure everyone gets a chance to play and get the ball.
Jack was running in to get a much needed drink. He kept grabbing his throat while he was playing because he was so thirsty.

Jack and Kate's biggest fan!

"I love soccer..." says our friend, Jack.

What a cute kid.

First day of preschool brings on stormy weather...

Jack had his first day of preschool but after getting home they found a big tree in the back yard after some stormy weather. It was quite sad. It is a great tree. We were glad it didn't hit our house.
Climbing is fun...

Discovering lots of fun at school. Jack is doing great at school this year. He is a little more brave than last year.
Still working on those letters.

State Fair... love affair or nightmare?

The State Fair has now come and gone. I have not blogged for some time so I have a lot of catching up to do. Kristin and the girls came down from Bismarck so what a better way to celebrate the end of the summer than the state fair. We walked, walked, walked and walked some more. Here are some shots from the day. Cute shot of the kids. Tatelyn is getting so tall. Her and Kate are only a year a part. Come on Kate let's start growing.
Bryn had her own state fair treats. Yum!

Right before gettin on the bumper boats.

Crusin' in the boats.

Enjoying their foot long dogs.

and acting like nerds.
