Sorry for the delay...

I admit my blogging skills have gone to the dogs. But I am trying to get back on track. Speaking of dogs... Bryn is looking cute snuggling with her cuddle pet.
Kate and Jack love cardboard boxes. We got a new chair, they got a new toy. I will secretly recycle it next week.

We went to Krista's house last weekend. Bryn discovered she can climb stairs. Yikes.

Bryn brushing her teeth. She has a good set of choppers!

Bryn has also been trying to beef up a bit. Here she is doing a series of pull ups. I have to admit this was quite funny to be watching. Happy Weekend.

A little cheese if you please

I just got back from Arizona. A welcome change in weather compared to good old Minnesota. I was fortunate to get to be with several folks from around the country and have a week to learn more about being a good leader...Let's hope the sun didn't damage my brain cells too much and I can bring back some stuff that I learned. While I was gone these "cheesy" pictures were taken. Bryn has been working hard at pulling herself up. Unfortunately, one of her favorite places to do it is in the bath tub.
Kate, Jack and Bryn had a babysitter last weekend for my work Christmas party. The babysitter taught Kate how to braid her hair. Now she is beginning to be a pro.

Jack has a great love for puzzles. And he is really quite good at them. A little cheese for you!

As I said, the standing up has just started. I know she is 13 months and all, but give her time. I don't want to have to get the gate out for the stairs quite yet. Happy weekend.

Walkin' in a winter wonderland...

So this year we timed the trip to and from Bismarck just right (at least as far as the weather is concerned). We made it back Christmas Eve in time for dinner and presents. Here are some snapshots from the week. I wish I could say this was how happy Bryn was all week. She was great the first night and not until the last night was she back to her cheery self. We still love her.
The gift opening began. Kate and Jack were excited to get some new games. I was a little bummed that they made noise and required batteries.

Kate and Jack loved everything they got. Lots of fun stuff from grandmas and grandpas and all the relatives.

Bryn got a little more into the opening as the night went on. She really was excited with all of her fun little toys. Once again, noise makers and batteries.

Dig in.

Cool.

We got up Christmas morning to go to church. It worked out great. We were two minutes late and they ushered us to an open seat. Here is a quick family photo at the end of church when we got back home. It felt a little like the paparazzi as there were three people snapping photos. Who would have guessed this was such a good lookin' family.

They do actually like each other. I know, crazy.

Papa Bob was about the only one who was able to make contact with Bryn at my parents house. My mom had back surgery so she had to take it easy. I think Bryn filled the time and helped with the recovery.

Jack was in heaven. He had four boys to wrestle with. His face was red pretty much the entire night. Thanks Bunny, Dewey, Quarter Cup and Scooby for keeping the boy busy.

So the kids got a Wii for Christmas. This was funny to watch the dancing happening in the living room. Yes, I was a part of it but none of those photos made it to this blog.
Our last full day we took in the sledding hill. It was fun for all. Even when Krista and Jack went over the huge bump and nearly went home with a concussion.

Grandpa Myles spoiled the kids by pulling them back up the hill on the sled. Much nicer than me!

The three sisters (check out the gal in the purple).

Everybody got a chance to go down with Kate and Jack. Grandma Maureen stayed back and played with Bryn (thanks!)

This is our second annual High Voltage picture. Chere and I find it funny that this is at the top of the sledding hill.

Family photo minus one. Our last trip down the big hill was a four-some.

The MFB is MIA

Wow, how time flies when you are having fun (and working). So the Moch Family Blog has been Missing in Action, but here is a very long update. Bryn has not mastered the sippy cup (like all the Moch kids) she has mastered the straw for drinking. She is a big one year old, so no more bottle for this girl.

Loved this little picture. Such a sweet baby. She only fell asleep for a few minutes and then back on the go.

I know this is gross. But let's just say Bryn does pretty well to eat most of her food.

Kate and Jack's favorite pass time. Bath, popcorn and a movie!

Bryn loves the tub. She is getting to be much like her big brother and sister. She could spend lots of time in there until she takes a nose dive.

We made the big trip home to Bismarck. Ann had to work five nights in a row, so the kids and I (along with Aunty Krista) braved the trip home without Ann (we now love her even more than when we left).

Spending a little time at Papa Bob's and Grandma Mikie's. Thanks for all the pancakes.

I know what you are thinking... "Mike this is not a nice picture." True, but the guess what I got for my birthday. Thanks Myles and Maureen.

Ann got a new scarf, hat and mittens for her birthday...Ahh, cozy!

Bryn also had a birthday. Here is her first gift.

Meanwhile, Jack put on a great show at the book fair. He's come a long way. Last year, he would only go to the show not perform.

Will she ever walk? Here is a start (pretending to pull herself up).

We have had a lot of snow here. I mean a lot. Here is a little evidence of how much falls at one time.

Jack and Kate have taken up skating lessons. They have made great improvements over the last few weeks.

Kate had to get new skates. She wore hers down to the shoe.

We had great helpers to decorate the Christmas tree this year.

We laughed because most of our pictures of Bryn are with her eating in this chair. Yum.

Kate and Jack helped to decorate Bryn's birthday cake. She turned the big 1!

Bryn sampling her cake. I am not sure if she was a fan. A Moch kid who doesn't love sugar? Where have we gone wrong?

Instead, she enjoyed her favorite birthday meal....cheese and peas!

Bryn has been doing a good job getting around. Crawling like a rock star!

Bryn was not too interested in the wrapping paper for her birthday celebration.

Bryn helped to decorate the tree. She has done a great job of not pulling the ornaments down.

Kate had a reading part in her Advent play at church. She did a great job. She had a part that said... "low the angel said to Mary..." Kate got to church and told Ann, "Hey mom, I think I see Low." Kate thought the angels name was Low:)

Giggles from the girl.

I had to capture this moment. The kids went around collecting books in their bags and read on the stairs together.
Bryn cleaned out the diaper bag and found a little book we made for Kate. She loves it as much as Kate did.

A cheesy smile to all of you. Merry Christmas. I am sure we will have more photos after Christmas.
