Happy 2010!

Good food, good fun, good family! Our travels to Bismarck were great. Thanks to all of the relatives for making it feel like home. We hope we didn't over stay our great welcome.
Papa Bob and Grandma Mikie getting in some quality time with Bryn.

We finally made it to see Grandma Dee and Grandma Marcy in Breckenridge. We planned to stop on our way Christmas Eve, but we bolted out of town to head to North Dakota before the big storm. Unfortunately, our travels lasted from 3 pm on December 23 to 5:30 am on December 24.

Grandpa Myles and Kate (Zoe and Molly, too! Always running around so their images are usually a blur.)

Grandma Maureen got in some good snuggle time. We considered putting her in the car and bringing her back to Minnesota to snuggle Bryn whenever needed.

Out of all the gifts given, this was Jack's favorite. Too bad it was not our cooler to take home.

One of the few times Bryn was not being held during this past week. I think she may be officially spoiled.

The first family photo of five. We are thinking it may be a challenge in the future to get everyone to hold still, smile and look good.

Kate and Jack each received a Snuggie (actually two each). They are already enjoying them.

Bryn loves this cozy blanket. It was a gift from our old neighbors.

Poor kid. She has the bright light flashing in front of her quite often. We hope her vision is not impaired because of our photography sessions.

Week One is all done!

The first week of life for Bryn has been pretty enjoyable. She has been a good baby...loving all of her attention from everyone. Here she is in her "B" for Bryn. My co-worker, Tiffany, makes the coolest onsies (web.me.com/institchesdesigns). Bryn modeling her "B".

Bryn has been awake more during the day, so we have been trying out the bouncy seat to see if she is completely spoiled and needs to be held at all times, or if she is developing some independence.

I had to put this picture up. Jack doesn't often give his genuine smile for the camera. It looks like him and Ann are working on a major scrapbooking project.

Jack has been loving Bryn up a little more each day. Here he is sneaking a kiss.

Story hourS! YES, hours. Kate has really been growing into quite a reader...good enough to keep Jack's attention!

Grins all around. We have a similar picture of Jack and Kate lying together on the bed. It is amazing how much Bryn looks like Jack at the same age. We'll see, she changes every day.

Did you know having three kids is a lot of work?

It is back to work for me tomorrow, so who knows how long before you get an update on the Moch children. Kate and Jack have been amazing helpers. Here are some bath time photos where everyone is helping. Five days old and the chubby arms and legs are already starting to form. Man, I love chunky babies.
This picture cracks me up. I know all kids have talent but winking at the camera at 5 days old...Amazing:)

Count all the hands...they include Kate, Jack, Bryn and Ann. Poor kid didn't know what was coming.

Kate has been more than helpful. She has been volunteering to hold Bryn, change diapers, feed her (well that one is a little tough) and make sure she is fully loved-- some times to a fault.

Did We Say Bryn? We meant...

Jack has not quite come to terms that our newest addition is named Bryn. When he was told he had a new baby sister, he said, "Great. I want to name her Ella." Needless to say, Ella was not the name, but she has slowly evolved into Brynella Ice Cream Angel Marie Moch. Here is Jack letting us know what her real name is going to be.

On Our Way Home...

The trip home from the hospital was smooth. Bryn slept the entire way. I'll be honest, even after three kids, I did reach into the back seat to make sure she was breathing. Kate and Jack were very excited to meet their little sister. Kate snuggled Bryn for almost an hour before we forced her to do her homework.

Kate found out at school!

Kate was so excited to find out at school. Her teacher, Mrs. Tax, was nice enough to let her know the news and capture a grin or two.

Almost four hours old...

The first few hours have gone well. Bryn has been snuggling and sleeping. I forgot how fun it is just to get in a chair and take a good nap with a little bug on top of you.

First bath. Well, she sure woke up here!

She looks like a new girl, again. Every picture we have taken she looks like a different baby.

It's a Girl-- Bryn Marie Moch!

Yahoo! It's a girl! The little bundle was a champ, as was her mom. Ann was ready to push at 12 pm and at 12:09 pm she was born.

Here are the stats: 7 lbs. 12 oz. (sorry big brother, your little sister beat you by an ounce!)
Ann and Bryn resting together. It's tough to be out in the real world. And cold-- lots of snow coming down outside the hosptital window.

Family picture. Bryn has had her hand up by her face from the moment she has arrived.

We were taking bets that she was at least 8 lbs.

Ann moments before she was ready to push. Wow! Impressive!

Here We Go!

Here we go! All is well. It is about 10:35 am on Tuesday, December 8. Our nurse has been great. Dr. Maag stopped by and things are progressing- but not at a rapid rate. I will keep everybody up to date. Here is a snapshot of the baby belly...
